Job Title: Rotational Specialist Pharmacist (Band 7)
Location: Clinical Pharmacy Services, Mount Gould Hospital, Plymouth
Hours: Up to 37.5 per week

We're hiring a motivated Band 7 Pharmacist to join our dynamic Clinical Pharmacy Team at Livewell Southwest. This rotational role covers general medicine, rehabilitation, mental health, and community services-supporting both primary and secondary care settings.

What You'll Do:

  • Deliver clinical pharmacy services including medicines reconciliation, optimisation, and discharge planning

  • Attend ward rounds and MDTs across a range of services

  • Provide expert advice to prescribers and healthcare professionals

  • Supervise and support junior pharmacy staff

  • Contribute to service improvement, clinical audits, and medicines governance

  • Receive support to complete a Clinical Diploma and train as an Independent Prescriber

What We're Looking For:

  • Registered Pharmacist with the GPhC

  • Strong clinical knowledge and problem-solving skills

  • Able to travel between sites across Plymouth

  • Postgraduate diploma (or working towards) is desirable

  • Mental health pharmacy experience is an advantage
