Michael Page are currently working with a market leading organisation who are looking to recruit an Interim Procurement Officer who will play a key role in managing procurement activities. This temporary role in Plymouth requires a detail-oriented professional to ensure efficient supply chain operations.

Description

As Interim Procurement Officer, duties will include, however, not be limited to:

  • Coordinate procurement activities to ensure timely delivery of goods and services.
  • Develop and maintain supplier relationships to optimise sourcing strategies.
  • Prepare and issue purchase orders and contracts in compliance with company policies.
  • Monitor supplier performance and address any issues to maintain quality standards.
  • Analyse market trends to identify cost-saving opportunities.
  • Ensure adherence to procurement regulations and internal procedures.
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation for audit purposes.

Profile

A successful Procurement Officer should have:

  • Previous experience in procurement.
  • Strong organisational and analytical skills to manage procurement processes effectively.
