In this vital role, you'll be at the heart of cases where families need support to agree on the best arrangements for their children, or where local authorities have serious concerns. You'll use your expert skills in risk assessment and mediation to advocate for arrangements that always prioritize the child's best interests.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments and directly engage with children to ensure their views and wishes are heard and represented in court.
- Utilise your expertise in robust risk assessment and mediation.
- Champion arrangements that put children's safety and welfare first.
What We're Looking For:
- An essential Social Work qualification and current registration with Social Work England.
- Ideally, a minimum of 3 years' experience working with children and families in a social work capacity.
- Experience in Family Court proceedings and a solid understanding of Public Law.
- An organised and resilient individual with the ability to work independently and manage a varied workload effectively.
