CNC Press Brake Setter Operator

Manpower is currently recruiting for a skilled CNC Press Brake Setter/Operator to join our successful manufacturing client in Pocklington.

Position Details:
Job Title: CNC Press Brake Setter/Operator
Location: Pocklington, YO42 area
Contract: Permanent
Salary: 29,000 per annum
Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30 AM - 5:00 PM
Start Date: ASAP
Key Responsibilities:
Set up and operate CNC Press Brakes, primarily AMADA machines
Read and interpret technical drawings to determine product measurements
Cut and bend materials according to specifications
Perform quality checks to ensure correct size and shape of finished pieces
Work with various materials including Mild Steel, Aluminium, and Stainless Steel
Interpret drawings and check parts to meet company standards
Work from Bills of Materials (BOM)
Carry out general maintenance of machines
Monitor material levels and inform Workshop Manager when supplies are low
Requirements:
Minimum 1 year experience setting and operating CNC Press Brakes (AMADA or similar)
Ability to read technical drawings and use measurement tools
Experience with CNC (Computer Numerical Control) equipment
Relevant certifications in press machine operation or metal work (preferred)
Strong attention to detail and quality control
