Are you a highly motivated individual with previous broker experience?

We are supporting a company based in Polegate who are recruiting for a full time Commercial Account Manager. This is a full-time position working Monday to Friday 9am-5:30pm; however, the client can offer part time hours (4 days/30 hours per week) for the right candidate. This role is offering a salary of £40k-£50k per annum (DOE) as well as remote working. Although this role is remote based, you must be able to drive/have your own car and be able to commute into Polegate when required.

Duties will include:

  • Responding promptly and professionally to inbound enquiries
  • Managing a team of Commercial Executives, and supporting them to maintain high levels of customer satisfaction and sales
  • Monitoring KPIs and contributing to budgets and reports to ensure sale targets are achieved for the business
  • Ensuring business activities comply with regulations and company policies
  • Responsible for building relationships with clients, underwriters and insurers, ensuring retention
  • Identifying new business opportunities, contributing to business planning and growth strategy
  • Creating proposals and presentations to prospective clients
  • Negotiating terms and keeping updated on market developments and products and analysing data to inform decision-making

To be successful, you must have at least 2 years' experience in commercial insurance and strong knowledge of commercial lines insurance products. You must also have excellent negotiation and interpersonal skills, with strong attention to detail.
