- Calculating daily operational variances including yields, etc.
- Reporting on costs across labour, etc including variances to standard
- Liaising with Payroll to ensure accurate daily cost capture
- Highlighting and actioning yield performance with operations
- Ensuring yield improvement actions are implemented and shared across teams
- Updating system changes (e.g. cost specs, BOMs, reports, maintenance systems)
- Ensuring new products are set up correctly to measure key direct costs
- Identifying and supporting areas for profit improvement
- Stock reconciliation across multiple areas including third-party providers
- Ensuring accurate costs and yields in product costings and tenders
- Providing holiday/absence cover and supporting other finance duties as required
- Experience in a finance or management accounting role, ideally within manufacturing or FMCG
- Part-qualified CIMA or AAT qualified would be advantageous
- Strong attention to detail and confidence working with large datasets and systems
