Job Title: Front of House Assistant
Location: Farmer Copleys Farm, Pontefract
Salary: From 12.21 per hour
Job Type: Full-time, Permanent. (Day shifts) various days of the week - no less than 30 hours per week.
Farmer Copleys is a multi-award-winning Farm Shop, Caf & Events business based in Pontefract, West Yorkshire. On the farm, we grow pumpkins, strawberries, asparagus, rhubarb, raspberries, blackberries, apples and liquorice. We operate seasonal Pick Your Own experiences and in the spring months host our flower fields.
On site we have a farm shop, deli, butchery, bakery, cafe, dessertery and production kitchen.
Everything is available in our farm shop and the shop supplies the delicious ingredients for our Moo Caf & Catered events.
We have a skilled and talented team of farmers, butchers, bakers and chefs to grow, make and prepare our range of products and menus for the caf, the shop and events and functions. We celebrate and showcase everything that is great about British food and farming.

Our Moo Caf opens seven days a week and offers a delicious seasonal menu and daily specials. We are now looking for a new Front of House Assistant to join our busy team, ideally someone with previous experience and barista skills - the ability to create the perfect coffee - well lots of them actually!
This is a permanent vacancy not just seasonal cover so we are looking for candidate seeking their forever job.
Day to day duties would also include:
- Welcoming and serving customers with a smile
- Delivering food and drinks to tables
- Taking orders using an iPad
- Clearing and cleaning
- Creating moments that matter
Our ideal candidate will:
- Be knowledgeable and confident
- Have previous front of house experience
- Ideally have previous barista experience
- Maintain health & safety, cleanliness standards
- Have a genuine passion for making people happy
- Have a can-do attitude and a positive outlook with bags of personality
- Have great communication skills because you will be talking to our amazing customers all the time
- Be a hard worker with high levels of enthusiasm and energy.
