Approved Electrician - Pontefract

Adept Resourcing is working on behalf of a well-established organisation based in Pontefract to recruit an experienced and qualified Approved Electrician. This is a permanent role offering long-term career prospects, early finishes on Fridays, and a great team environment.
This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced electrician to join a growing business in a role that offers both variety and stability.
Key Responsibilities:
- Install, inspect, and test electrical systems within an industrial setting
- Ensure compliance with BS 7671 Wiring Regulations and other relevant standards
- Interpret technical drawings, wiring diagrams, and specifications
- Accurately complete work reports and compliance documentation
- Work safely in line with health and safety regulations
- Liaise with clients, contractors, and internal teams to ensure projects are completed efficiently
Requirements:
- City & Guilds Level 3 Electrical Installation (or equivalent)
- 2391 Inspection, Testing & Certification (or equivalent)
- ECS Gold Card (preferred)
- Strong understanding of electrical regulations and workplace safety
- Ability to manage your own workload and work collaboratively
Working Hours:
- Monday to Thursday: 7am - 4pm (Early finish on Friday)
- 40 hours per week
- Business closes for Bank Holidays and during the Christmas/New Year period
