The Electrical team leader is a key role in prioritising and delivering the day-to-day KPI's within the Electrical department.

The Person:

  • Experience of managing a team within an engineering or manufacturing environment.
  • Familiar with working on production equipment conveyors, packaging
  • Must have an electrical maintenance background
  • Previous experience of managing, coaching and developing colleagues would be beneficial.
  • Able to work cross functionally.
  • Strong communicator.
  • Natural ability to plan and organise.

The Role:

  • Distribute and monitor the teams work to achieve the delivery of a Planned maintenance program to ensure reliability of equipment and to improve asset performance.
  • Ensuring the teams timely completion of work orders giving accurate and valuable detail for asset history following the functional failure.
  • Lead the department Engineering RCA (root cause analysis) to stop any issues from re-occurring.
  • Perform calibration services in accordance with work order instructions, associated procedures and regulatory standards.
  • Continuous improvement of equipment, improving safety, efficiency, changeovers and minimising downtime.
  • Ensure that all daily admin is carried out, such as the shift handover etc
  • Ensure presence atmeetings and communicates actions back to engineering to action out.

This role is working aMonday to Friday Days role.

  • Will include call outswhich will be on a 1 week in 4 rotation.
