The firm is full-service, with residential property being the biggest and most successful division. Many of the conveyancers within the firm started as conveyancing assistants so there's real scope for progression here, should you want it! The key things you'd be working on in your day-to-day are: ordering searches, dealing with exchanges, issuing mortgage reports to clients, opening files and inputting new instructions onto the case management systems. Salary wise, it is dependant on experience but it can start at £25,000 and go up to £27,000 for senior conveyancing assistants.
