About the roleWe are working with the school to recruit a teacher who can commit to a full-time role with the potential of this being extended to a permanent position, teaching both KS3 and KS4. This is a full-time position starting in September 2025.
The school is focused on providing the highest quality of education, and all members of staff are expected to strive for excellence in everything they do. The students consistently attain high standards and their behaviour in lessons and around the school is good.
Key responsibilities-
Prepare and deliver structured History lessons for all learning styles and abilities

Create a positive learning environment within the classroom to encourage student learning and engagement

Collaborate with colleagues to best support students and provide the highest quality teaching to the students

Keep accurate records of students performance to monitor their progress and report back to both students and parents

QTS with a History specialism
-
Experience teaching History at KS3 and KS4 in a secondary school

Proven background of high pupil progress

A real desire to make a positive difference to the pupils you work with
