Job Title: Locum Social Worker – Locality TeamLocation: Pontefract, UKSalary: £35.00 per hourContract: Ongoing (Full-Time or Part-Time)

We are seeking a Locum Social Worker to join our Locality Team in Pontefract. This ongoing locum role offers a competitive hourly rate of £35.00 and the flexibility of full-time or part-time hours. You will work with children and families across the community, carrying out assessments, safeguarding interventions, and ongoing case management.

• Duty Week (Every 4 Weeks): Manage all new referrals and assessments, conduct Section 47 enquiries, handle urgent cases, and carry out Child and Family Assessments.

• Ongoing Casework: Work on Child in Need, Child Protection, PLO, and court proceedings. Experience in Child in Need and Child Protection is essential.

• Flexible Role Opportunities: Candidates with Children in Care experience are encouraged to transition into Child Protection work.

• Team Collaboration: Participate fully in duty week and ongoing team activities, ensuring effective responses to community needs.

• One duty day per week during non-duty weeks.

• Office-based participation during duty weeks.

• Flexible working policies supporting efficient remote work.
