Key Responsibilities

As an SEN Teaching Assistant registered with our agency, you will:

  • Support students with a range of special educational needs, including ASD, ADHD, SEMH, and physical disabilities.

  • Assist with the delivery of tailored learning activities under the guidance of teaching staff.

  • Promote independence and confidence in learning.

  • Provide emotional and behavioural support to help students overcome barriers.

  • Work collaboratively with teachers, SENCOs, and external specialists.

Skills, Experience and Abilities

To be successful, you will need:

  • Experience working with children with SEN (in education, care, or support settings).

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Patience, empathy, and the ability to remain calm under pressure.

  • Ability to adapt support to meet individual needs.

  • A genuine passion for making a difference to young lives.

A relevant qualification (e.g., CACHE Level 2/3, or equivalent) is desirable but not essential.

Additional Information
