Adept Resourcing is currently recruiting on behalf of a well-established engineering company for a Skilled Industrial Spray Painter. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced professional with a background in industrial coatings and corrosion protection to join a forward-thinking team that values craftsmanship, quality, and safety.
Role Overview
The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing and applying high-performance industrial coatings to achieve corrosion protection standards up to C3-C5. You will be working with a variety of spray systems and coating materials, ensuring all work meets rigorous quality and durability specifications.
Key Responsibilities
Prepare, mask, and finish metal and fabricated surfaces to specification.
Apply protective coatings in line with C3-C5 environmental protection standards.
Operate a range of spray application systems including airless, air-assisted airless, and conventional pressure pot equipment.
Mix and apply two-pack paint systems, such as epoxy primers, ensuring optimal adhesion and finish.
Conduct inspections to verify coating thickness, finish quality, and compliance with client requirements.
Maintain equipment and work areas to a high standard of safety and cleanliness.
Follow all health, safety, and environmental procedures to ensure a safe working environment.
Requirements
Proven background as an Industrial Spray Painter or similar coating specialist.
Hands-on experience with airless and pressure-assisted spray systems.
Strong understanding of two-pack paint systems and epoxy coatings.
Ability to apply coatings in accordance with C3-C5 protection categories.
Capable of reading and interpreting technical drawings and specifications.
Excellent attention to detail with a focus on accuracy and finish quality.
Working Hours
40 hours per week
Monday to Thursday: 1:30pm - 10:30pm
Friday: 11:00am - 5:00pm
