The School and Role

A specialist SEND provision in Ponteland are looking to appoint a Special Needs Support Assistant to work with young people who have Social, Emotional and Mental Health Needs (SEMH). As a Special Needs Support Assistant, you will work closely with the class teacher to guide students in managing their emotions and working towards their targets. This is a full time Special Needs Support Assistant role.

Requirements

The desired Special Needs Support Assistant will have;

• Experience of working with secondary school aged children
• Experience of working with pupils with SEMH
• A passion for education and helping people
• A nurturing and engaging personality
