Jennifer Griffiths Recruitment are looking for an experienced Draughtsman/CAD Technician, for a Client in the Bridgend area.
The Draughtsmans primary responsibilities are to create technical drawings from details provided by clients and the contracts team.
Daily duties:
- Using CAD software, such as AutoCAD/solid works, to prepare technical drawings.
- Working with engineers and other professionals to produce drawings that meet their specifications and design intent.
- Writing related technical documents such as material lists and flashing schedules.
- Ensure that all drawings are accurate and meet industry standards and manufacturers details.
- Maintaining a library of standard drawing templates.
- Updating existing drawings as new information becomes available.
- Ordering materials from take offs and liaising with the contracts team regarding delivery scheduling.
- Collating all information.
- Possible site visits and attending design team meetings if required.
Working hours are Monday to Thursday 8.30am to 5pm with an hour for lunch and Friday 8.30am to 3.30pm with an hour for lunch.
Pay: From £35,000.00 per year
