The position is an ongoing agency temp role within the Logistics Group, with a salary of £16.19 per hour.
Responsibilities include managing the flow of materials from suppliers to manufacturing and ensuring effective system transactions.
Candidates should have significant experience in warehousing within a lean manufacturing environment.
A good understanding of Microsoft Office and knowledge of SAP is required, along with preferable licenses for order picking and reach forklift operation.
The ideal candidate will also be trained in packing hazardous shipments for IATA and must ensure the department operates safely and ethically.

Job Elements• The position is for role within the Logistics Group from Goods Inwards, Warehousing to Shipping• To ensure an effective flow of materials from our suppliers into our Manufacturing area and then onto our Customers.• All associated system transactions from Customs clearance to Goods receipt/Storage/issue to Manufacturing / receipt of finished goods and onward shipment to the Customer• Continuously improve the operation of the department through regular performance reviews with the Logistics Leader.• Ensure that the department operates in a safe and ethical manner at all times.

The ideal candidate will have:• Good basic education• Goods understanding of Microsoft Office is required to assist in day to day duties• Good working knowledge of SAP into include problem solving experience• Order Picker and Reach Fork truck license preferable• Trained in packing Hazardous shipments for IATA preferable• Significant experience of Warehousing in a lean manufacturing environment.
