Job Elements• The position is for role within the Logistics Group from Goods Inwards, Warehousing to Shipping• To ensure an effective flow of materials from our suppliers into our Manufacturing area and then onto our Customers.• All associated system transactions from Customs clearance to Goods receipt/Storage/issue to Manufacturing / receipt of finished goods and onward shipment to the Customer• Continuously improve the operation of the department through regular performance reviews with the Logistics Leader.• Ensure that the department operates in a safe and ethical manner at all times.
The ideal candidate will have:• Good basic education• Goods understanding of Microsoft Office is required to assist in day to day duties• Good working knowledge of SAP into include problem solving experience• Order Picker and Reach Fork truck license preferable• Trained in packing Hazardous shipments for IATA preferable• Significant experience of Warehousing in a lean manufacturing environment.
