We have a fantastic opportunity for you to work for the Royal Mint as Tour Guides and Retail staff based in Llantrisant, South Wales, CF72 8YT. We are looking to employ a number of Tour Guides to work a minimum of 6 hours per week at The Royal Mint Experience, a prestigious company steeped in History.

**The Royal Mint Experience are looking to fill multiple positions both in leading guests on Site tours, assisting members of the public including families and children in the shop. **

Typical working hours and Payrate:

  • You will be required to be flexible and be able to work between Monday to Sunday, including evenings, on a Rota based system.
  • Part-time hours: Minimum 6 hours per week
  • Variety of contracts/hours available.
  • Pay: £12.21 per hour

Key Accountabilities:

  • Embrace the idea of 'the team' and actively work to ensure the success of the attraction. A conscientious attitude, ability to follow the script given and be open to receiving feedback from the management team.
  • Ensure you are always punctual, ready to start working at the time your shift starts.
  • Ensure the highest standards of presentation are maintained throughout the attraction.
  • Be courteous and professional to guests.
  • Observe and report to the General/Duty Manager immediately any incidents which may affect the presentation, other employees, or guests of the visitor attraction.

Purpose of the Job:

  • Escorting guests around the facility and any other ad hoc duties required.
  • Leading Guests on tours
  • Ensure that all guests and potential guests at the attraction always receive the highest level of customer service

  • Experience in retail, using tills, stock replen

Desirable

  • Experience in amateur dramatics
  • Previous Experience of working in the Tourism Sector

  • Storytelling/ Interest in History
