We're excited to recruit Teaching assistants in Pontypool to support schools in a variety of vital roles, including general classroom support, 1:1 intervention, and SEN provision.
Whether you're an experienced Teaching Assistant or eager to build your experience in education, we want to hear from you!
Roles Available:
- General classroom support across Early Years, KS1, and KS2
- 1:1 support for pupils with Additional Learning Needs (ALN)
- Small group interventions in literacy and numeracy
- Behaviour support and pastoral assistance
Minimum Requirements:
- At least 6 months' experience working with children or young people
- Valid Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply through Academics)
- Relevant qualifications or training in childcare, education, or SEN support (desirable)
- Positive, proactive, and reliable approach to supporting pupils and staff
