Haystack Selection is recruiting on behalf of an innovative and growing manufacturer that delivers technical solutions to clients across a variety of industries. This business offers cutting-edge technology and places a strong emphasis on technical excellence, customer service, and continuous improvement. They are now seeking an Applications Engineer to support their technical sales process and bridge the gap between customer requirements and manufacturing solutions.

About the role:
Haystack Selection is recruiting on behalf of a well-established manufacturing organisation in South Wales to recruit a proactive and organised Maintenance Administrator. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who thrives in a fast-paced industrial environment and enjoys managing the detail behind smooth operational delivery.

Key Responsibilities:
Manage and maintain the Computerised Maintenance Management System (CMMS)
Raise and process purchase requisitions, orders, and receipts.
Organise the maintenance stores and manage consignment stock.
Liaise with external suppliers and contractors to source strategic spares and negotiate pricing.
Support compliance activities such as documentation for lifting equipment, inspections, and planned maintenance schedules.
Promote a culture of Health & Safety in line with internal standards and procedures.

Skills & Experience Required:
Previous experience in a maintenance or engineering administration role.
Working knowledge of CMMS platforms is highly desirable.
Background in a manufacturing or industrial environmentparticularly heavy industryis an advantage.
Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing, 5S, or Continuous Improvement principles.
Strong organisational and multitasking abilities.
Excellent communication and team collaboration skills.
High attention to detail with the ability to meet deadlines under pressure.
Positive, self-motivated attitude with a logical and analytical approach.
