Are you a passionate and experienced qualified teacher looking for a rewarding opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of young people?

Our client in Pontypridd, Rhondda Cynon Taff, is seeking dynamic and dedicated qualified teachers to join our growing team. They are a Pupil Referral Unit (PRU) providing essential support to young people aged 5-16 who face a range of challenges, including:

Mental health difficulties

  • Anxiety
  • ASD and Autism
  • Neurodiversity
  • Physical challenges
  • Safeguarding concerns
  • Awaiting school placement
  • Pregnancy

We offer a unique and varied learning environment, with a focus on individualised support. This role will involve:

  • Small group tuition
  • SEMH and anxiety support
  • 1:1 tuition in the community or at home

We are looking for tutors who:

  • Have a strong understanding of the needs of young people with diverse learning styles and challenges.
  • Possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Are highly organised and able to manage their time effectively.
  • Are flexible and adaptable to meet the changing needs of our learners.
  • Have a high level of availability - We require tutors who can commit to a significant number of hours, as we have a high demand for support.
