We have a newly created opportunity for a Managing Quantity Surveyor to join an industry specialist on a new 5-year framework in the region. Our client, who holds framework status for AMP8 in the Water sector with Welsh Water, requires a Managing Quantity Surveyor to lead a commercial team on large-scale capital programme of works.
As Managing Quantity Surveyor you will:
- Have worked for Tier One contractors on civil engineering projects.
- Be responsible for developing a busy commercial team, supporting all members with their own development and progression.
- Responsible for all pre and post contract duties.
- Draft and negotiate NEC forms of contract.
- Identify and mitigate commercial risks.
Our client requires a Managing Quantity Surveyor with:
- Degree qualification in Quantity Surveying or similar
- Experience of working for a tier one Civil Engineering contractor.
- A history of commercially managing large-scale, complex projects
- Excellent communication skills.
- A thorough understanding of NEC form of contracts.
Salary and benefits include:
- 75,000 - 85,000 per annum
