Group Management Accountant – Growing Manufacturing Business

The Role:

As Group Management Accountant, you’ll be at the heart of the finance function, consolidating results across multiple entities, delivering insightful reporting, and supporting key commercial decisions. You’ll work closely with operational teams, have a voice in shaping processes, and bring your manufacturing sector expertise to help drive efficiency and performance.

What You’ll Be Doing:

  • Preparing timely, accurate monthly management accounts with variance analysis and commentary
  • Consolidating results across multiple business units and entities
  • Leading budgeting and forecasting cycles in partnership with operational teams
  • Providing meaningful financial analysis to influence strategic and commercial decisions
  • Monitoring cost control, margin performance, and working capital
  • Maintaining robust financial controls, reconciliations, and processes
  • Liaising with external auditors during year-end
  • Supporting ERP enhancements and reporting automation
  • Assisting with cash flow forecasting and treasury management
  • Driving continuous improvement in reporting and business partnering

What We’re Looking For:

  • Newly qualified or finalist accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA)
  • Experience in a manufacturing environment is essential
  • Proven track record with group accounts, intracompany transactions, and consolidations
  • Strong technical accounting skills with commercial awareness
  • Advanced Excel and ERP system experience
  • Excellent attention to detail, with the ability to meet tight deadlines
  • Confident communicator, comfortable working cross-functionally
  • Hands-on, proactive, and solutions-focused
