This role involves managing various administrative tasks, ensuring efficient operations, and maintaining accurate records. The successful applicant will be proficient in using computerised systems. Previous experience of working with vulnerable adults and alarm systems would be beneficial.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain all data relating to the clients and the services provided including hire agreements, personal details on our database, VAT exemption forms, equipment, and payment methods.
  • Business admin duties using MS excel spreadsheets (inputting),
  • MS word letters and mail merge,
  • setting up and checking accounts,
  • chasing debtors (telephone)
  • processing all financial data including raising invoices, creating recurring billing, amending existing billing, raising credits, refunds and cancelling billing for clients.
  • responsibilities for raising purchases orders, ordering stock and supplies including receipting invoices.
  • Managing some inventory items
  • Organise and maintain office files and documentation systematically.
  • Assist with scheduling appointments and coordinating service requests.
  • Collaborate with team members to ensure seamless service delivery
  • Qualifications
  • Proven experience in an administrative role is essential
  • Proficiency in Excel
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Knowledge and awareness of Care Technology and working with Community Alarms / Telecare
  • Working with Vulnerable Adults/Carers
  • Excellent data entry skills with attention to detail.
  • Excellent phone manner.
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
  • Previous Public Sector experience would be welcome
