Our client is seeking an experienced Account Manager to join the successful sales department.

Main responsibilities:

  • Adhere to internal service level agreements when responding to customer enquiries to ensure customer satisfaction and first-class customer service is delivered through every touchpoint.
  • Schedule and contact customers and book appointments for the Business Development Manager, keeping all records on the CRM and ERP systems, up to date with all relevant information.
  • Contribute to team success through strong individual performance, achieving all set KPI’s.
  • Follow up on quotes provided to secure business where possible, communicating with other departments to provide the customer with the most up to date information, such as, stock levels, pricing and delivery schedules.
  • Recognise opportunities to further develop profitability and sales growth.
  • Actively maintain strong, positive client relationships, identifying needs and providing solutions. Understanding their upcoming needs for further repeat business, changes to personnel or decision makers and any changes to circumstances.
  • Analyse industry trends and use this information to positively influence customers with new solutions, meeting their needs and offering products that may be of an interest.
  • Provide resolutions and handle all complaints with care, following all internal processes.

Skills/Experience required:

  • Experience managing accounts in either B2B or B2C.
  • Comfortable working over the telephone, building strong relationships with new prospective customers as well developing on existing accounts.
  • Ability to influence sales, recognise opportunities for further GP growth and ask for business.
  • Proactive self-starter with tenacious mindset, focused on winning business.
