We are seeking a Carpenter to join a reputable contractor in the social housing sector in Dorset.
This position is temporary to permanent, offering £23 per hour for the first 20 weeks, with a potential salary of up to £38,000 once permanent.
The role includes working on carpentry repairs, FRA works, and fire safety-related tasks such as remedial fire doors and fire stopping.
Candidates should have a qualification in carpentry or over 5 years of relevant experience, along with experience in fire door fitting.
A full driving license with no more than 6 points and personal tools are also required for this position.

We are currently recruiting for a Carpenter to join a highly established contractor within the social housing sector, traveling within Dorset. This role involves working on repairs on a temp to perm basis.

As a Carpenter, you will receive:

£23 per hr (Temp to perm, 20 weeks)
Company van and fuel
Salary up to 38k when permanent

As a Carpenter, you will be:

Working on Carpentry repairs
Working on FRA Works, remedial fire doors, remedial replacement door-sets and fire stopping works
Working for a social housing contractor

As a Carpenter, you'll need:

Social housing experience
To have a qualification in carpentry or more than 5 years' experience
Have experience in fire door fitting and fire stopping works
Full licence (no more than 6 points)
Own tools
