As a Food Tech ECT, your responsibilities will include:

  • Teaching Food Technology at KS3 and KS4 (with possible KS5 opportunities as you grow)

  • Supporting students with a range of abilities and backgrounds

  • Delivering lessons that balance theory with practical skill-building

  • Participating in extracurricular cooking clubs or health initiatives

ECTs will benefit from:

  • A reduced timetable in Year 1

  • A dedicated subject mentor and regular one-to-one support

  • Weekly CPD focused on classroom practice and subject delivery

Person Specification:
