Production Chemist Assistant | Poole | £28,000

As a Production Chemist Assistant, you’ll work alongside an experienced Chemist to help maintain and optimise the daily operation of a busy plating facility. From monitoring chemical performance to supporting quality checks, you’ll gain valuable experience in a varied and process-focused role. As the Production Chemist Assistant, you’ll benefit from:

As the Production Chemist Assistant, your responsibilities will include:

  • Adding chemicals and additives to production lines under supervision
  • Performing regular testing and quality checks to ensure product performance
  • Supporting daily maintenance and housekeeping of the plating and effluent systems
  • Assisting with cleanliness inspections and compliance documentation
  • Helping to cover holidays and absence within the production team

As the Production Chemist Assistant, your skills and experience will include:

  • Previous experience in a production or hands-on operational environment
  • An interest in chemistry or manufacturing processes (A-Level Chemistry advantageous)
  • Good attention to detail and a proactive, problem-solving attitude
  • Physically able to lift containers up to 25kg
