TeamJobs Recruitment is excited to be working on behalf of our client to recruit an Interim Sales Team Manager for their Cruise Division. This role offers an excellent opportunity to lead a dynamic and growing team, ensuring the delivery of high service standards while driving efficiency and performance.

This is a hands-on leadership role where you'll act as the go-to person for day-to-day team operations, providing guidance, support, and structure to a high-performing group of professionals.

This is a fixed term contract for 6 months to begin with - however, there are always opportunities at Tower for the right fit.

About the Role:

As Sales Team Manager, you'll oversee a dedicated Cruise team, including Subject Matter Experts, Internal Account Support, and the CBN team. You'll be responsible for managing team performance, handling transactional decision-making, and maintaining an efficient and effective working environment.

Reporting directly to the Divisional Managing Director for Cruise, this role requires confident leadership, strong people management skills, and a proactive approach to operational delivery.

Key Responsibilities:

Manage:

  • Conduct monthly one-to-one meetings to offer feedback, development support and address concerns

  • Set clear expectations and performance goals

  • Respond to delivery issues and manage email queries in line with SLAs

Lead:

  • Promote a culture of engagement, motivation, and continuous improvement

  • Provide coaching and mentoring to encourage team growth and development

  • Analyse productivity and implement improvement plans as needed

Drive:

  • Support customers professionally via telephone

  • Maintain a thorough understanding of order processing procedures and channels

  • Use ERP, CRM and internal systems to ensure accurate and timely order management

  • Collaborate cross-functionally to prevent order issues and fulfil client requirements

  • Build a strong understanding of key clients and the cruise fulfilment process

  • Liaise closely with the CBN team to identify upcoming resource needs
