TeamJobs is looking for an experienced Manual Turner to join a precision engineering company based in Poole.

The Role:
Setting and operating manual lathes to machine precision components to tight tolerances.
Working with large and complex parts, ensuring accuracy and high-quality standards.
Reading and interpreting engineering drawings and technical documents.
Using precision measuring tools for quality checks and first-off inspections.
Collaborating with engineers and machinists to maintain smooth production flow.
What We are Looking For:
Proven experience as a Manual Turner (X, Y, Z axis).
Confident working from detailed engineering drawings.
Experience with large or heavy components is desirable.
Basic CNC machining knowledge is an advantage, but not essential.
Hands-on, reliable, and eager to learn - training will be provided.
Strong attention to detail and a positive, proactive attitude.
What's on Offer:
18.00 - 19.00 per hour (DOE)
Full-time, permanent position - 40 hours per week
Monday-Thursday: 08:00-16:30
Friday: 08:00-12:00
Overtime available (paid at time and a half)
