TeamJobs is looking for a skilled CNC Miller/Programmer to join a forward-thinking engineering company based in Poole.
This is an excellent opportunity to work with state-of-the-art 3, 4 and 5 axis milling machines, manufacturing high-end precision components from a variety of exotic materials. You'll be part of a progressive, supportive team driving technology and cutting-edge manufacturing techniques.
The role:
Programming, setting and operating 3, 4 and 5 axis CNC milling machines
Producing precision components to tight tolerances
Reading and interpreting engineering drawings, CAD and STEP files
Using CAM and simulation software (training available if required)
Working with Heidenhain, Hurco and Fanuc controls
Ensuring workshop safety and high standards of quality
What we are looking for:
Time-served CNC Machinist or relevant qualification (City & Guilds or equivalent)
3, 4 and 5 axis milling experience
CAD/CAM knowledge desirable (training provided)
Strong communication skills and attention to detail
Flexible and team-focused approach
Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
What is on offer:
Competitive hourly rate + overtime (paid at time and a half)
40 hours per week (Mon-Thu 08:00-16:30, Fri 08:00-12:00)
