Join us at our Poole site as a Distribution Center Operative, where you’ll be central to ensuring the accurate flow of goods from receipt to dispatch using our warehouse management systems.
You’ll be coordinating daily warehouse operations, troubleshooting issues, maintaining stock integrity, and making sure our systems and processes run smoothly. From coaching colleagues on systems to reporting discrepancies and completing essential documentation, your work will be vital to the efficiency and accuracy of our distribution centre.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Ensuring timely and accurate receipt of all items into the Distribution Centre using WMS
- Reporting and tracking discrepancies and escalating where necessary
- Overseeing stock picking, replenishment, and stock integrity using manual or automated methods
- Supporting and training shift team colleagues on operational and administrative processes
- Completing, checking, and forwarding warehouse paperwork to relevant departments
- Maintaining productivity and achieving KPIs across both operations and admin
- Ensuring a high standard of housekeeping in the warehouse and yard
- Complying with all Health & Safety requirements and safe systems of work
- Completing stock checks and assisting other departments when required
- Contributing to our Environmental Policy by maintaining efficient warehouse practices
- 42.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday, on a swing shift pattern: 6am - 3pm one week, 3pm - 12am other week
What We’re Looking For
- Counterbalance Forklift Licence (essential)
- Experience using warehouse management systems (preferred)
- Strong administrative and data management skills
- Experience in a fast-paced warehousing or distribution environment
- Ability to identify and resolve discrepancies using software tools
- Excellent organisational skills with high attention to detail
- Clear communicator able to work with multi functional teams
- Ability to manage time and workload effectively under pressure
- A team player with a hands-on, problem-solving mindset
