The Role:
We are seeking a Technical Support Specialist to act as a vital link between sales, design, and installation teams. The successful candidate will be primarily office-based, providing technical oversight, design support, and troubleshooting expertise, while also conducting occasional site visits to assist with complex issues or system performance concerns.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide day-to-day technical support to internal sales and installation teams
Review solar PV system designs and provide expert input
Assist with troubleshooting and resolving installation or performance issues
Undertake occasional site visits for hands-on problem solving and quality checks
Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth project delivery
Support process improvements and technical documentation development
The Ideal Candidate Will Have:
Previous experience in solar PV systems, ideally within both design and installation environments
A strong technical understanding of solar system components and layout
Clear and confident communication skills for liaising across departments and with contractors
Good problem-solving ability, both remotely and on-site
A clean UK driving licence and willingness to travel locally when required
