Electrical and Electronics Design Engineer vacancy with a small friendly mechatronics engineering design manufacturing business with unique products. As Electrical and Electronics Design Engineer you work in a team, playing your part with electrical design and electronics engineering design, and talking through ideas and drawings with colleagues in engineering and manufacturing. Products include mechatronic assemblies, electrical layout and electronics systems for special purpose equipment. This is an Electrical and Electronics Design Engineer role, focused on design aspects of electrical and electronic systems in engineering designs.

£55,000-60,000 guideline + pension.

Daytime Monday to Friday. Earlier finish on Fridays.

Electrical design and Electronics Mechatronics design engineering.

Developing electrical and electronic designs, and capturing electrical layout and schematics into CAD.

Be part of a team working on different products, with well managed weekly project review meetings.

The sort of background that we are looking for:

Team player, supporting the wider design process as part of a team.

Experience as an electronics design engineer, or as an electrical design engineer or mechatronics design engineer.

HND, or Time Served Engineer, BTEC Level 4, HNC, or Electrical Engineering or Electronics degree and the ability to use CAD software to understand and create engineering drawings and schematics.

Proven ability to select, design and test design functionality of electrical and electronic systems through calculations and simulations.

This is a small friendly team that work well together, with plenty of people in the team that know their job really well. Career prospects are strong; the company has a strong order book spread across several industry sectors in the UK and overseas.
