REED are exclusively recruiting for a newly created Accounts Assistant opportunity, working with a Poole based Professional financial services firm, this vacancy will include carrying out the accounting function for two companies and setting up and improving the current processes and systems. Accounts Manager (Poole based, Parking available)
4 days per week - Office based
Salary £30,000 FTE
9am - 5pm
Role
- Managing the finances of 6 companies, Purchase & Sales Ledger
- Raising sales invoices, initial one-offs (all paid before work commences) plus monthly or annually recurring and Posting sales receipts
- BACS payments in for initials and Direct debits from GoCardless for monthly recurring, Recurring monthly invoices is for contracted ongoing service
- Purchase ledger, Input of all bills to relevant co. ledger
- Payment of bills via BACS (most paid via DD or debit card) and Reconciling all bank accounts and credit cards
- Produce VAT return from Xero for 2 x Co.’s
- Weekly reporting to Practice Manager and End of month reporting
- Financial year ends and Staff expenses (minimal)
- Petty cash and Managing purchasing for the businesses (general items for day to day)
- Property related Businesses
- Liaise with staff member who carries out and Client rent accounting
- Raising of Sales invoices to external landlords and Reconciling 6x sales receipts per month (2 per co. as outlined by other staff member handling sales invoicing to external landlords
