Finance Manager Required for a School in Poole

Engage Education Services has specialised in recruiting education staff in all roles for over a decade. We’re currently looking for an enthusiastic Finance Manager to work at a fantastic school in Poole.

Our team has built an excellent reputation in the local area, and we’re looking for more high-quality finance staff to work with these schools.

This is a temporary cover contract lasting for around 3 months.

About the role:

The working hours for this role are Monday to Friday. As the school finance Manager, you will be working as part of a close-knit team that works hard together to ensure the smooth running of financial services across the school. The finance assistants’ duties can include:

  • Manage the preparation of the Financial Statements and the subsequent audit process through to the satisfactory completion of the annual audit

  • Remain fully appraised of all financial rules and regulations that govern to ensure the School remains compliant with regulation and reporting requirements

  • Ensure all financial controls across the School are in place and work effectively and efficiently

  • Be the lead for all audit work and liaise with external auditors and staff on all relevant matters

The ideal applicant will have:
  • FCA/ ACA Qualification

  • A real passion for working within an education environment.

  • Experience utilising SAGE within a finance role.

  • Knowledge and experience of account procedures.

  • High levels of computer literacy including Excel.

  • Experience working as a finance manager (ideally in an educational setting)
