REED are recruiting an exciting opportunity for a Head of Finance to join a fast paced, high-growth, property rental business based in Poole, managing a small finance team and reporting directly into the Director and Operations Manager of the Company

Full job description

Finance Manager key responsibilities:

  • Ownership of all financial transactional aspects, including sales and purchase ledger, payroll and cash postings.
  • Weekly cashflow management.
  • Ensuring timely and accurate completion of bank reconciliations on Xero.
  • Creation and ownership of monthly financial statements.
  • Production of month end finance review pack.
  • Re-forecast P&L and cashflow quarterly.
  • Produce project P&L and cashflow forecast as required.
  • Consider funding requirements to support specific growth projects.
  • Ownership of monthly company payroll.
  • Year-end financial ownership, working with accountants as required.
  • FP&A ownership on a scheduled and adhoc basis.
  • Support the business with general business analysis and on key strategic projects as required.
  • Build and own performance dashboard.
  • Complete all Company secretary activities, to include the relationship with HMRC.
  • Team management: Recruitment, Development, Training, 121's, Mentoring, Coaching.
  • Ownership of IT, telephone, payroll and HR suppliers.
  • Identify and execute areas for improvement in systems, processes and approach.
  • Build relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including presenting required data.

Finance Manager Key Competencies:
