As an Import Operator, you’ll play a key role in ensuring smooth operations for both air and sea freight. As an Import Operator, your responsibilities will include:

Managing import shipments from arrival to delivery for air and sea freight
Liaising with airlines, shipping lines, hauliers, and other third parties
Maintaining accurate shipment and financial data within CargoWise or similar systems
Completing profit and loss checks and ensuring compliance requirements are met
Responding to customer queries and monitoring shared inboxes
Supporting the wider team and maintaining SOPs

As an Import Operator, your experience will include:

Proficiency in MS Word and Excel
Strong communication and customer service skills
Ability to work well under pressure and as part of a team
Commercial awareness and analytical skills (advantageous)
Previous experience in freight forwarding or logistics (preferred but not essential)
