SALES ADMINISTRATOR JOB SUMMARY: As a result of continued growth, and a higher demand for new orders / sales, our client is looking to appoint a Sales Administrator into a newly created, full time position within their Sales & Marketing department.  The successful Sales Administrator will be responding to new sales enquiries and producing quotations for both existing and new customers.Whilst this is not a telesales position, the ideal candidate will have excellent customer service and communication skills and be comfortable liaising with customers and other third parties, over the phone and via email.  You will have a meticulous, organised approach to completing administration tasks including sales order processing, producing quotations and any associated follow up activity.  SALES ADMINISTRATOR KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Provide customer service and sales admin support to a global customer base, and other third party distributors / partners. 
  • Manage the sales inbox to ensure that orders or requests for quotations are dealt with in a timely manner.
  • Respond to queries from through various inbound channels (Direct end users, resellers, rental partners and a strong network of existing customers).
  • Deal with enquiries, prepare quotations, process orders and provide the sales team with regular updates through the sales order process.
  • Ensure that you deliver an excellent level of customer service, to consistently exceed customer’s expectations.
  • Answer incoming calls, talking to customers on the phone and dealing with enquiries politely and efficiently.
  • Timely preparation of customer quotations and processing of customer orders in the CRM/ERP system. (system training to be provided)
  • Maintain and update the CRM / ERP with accurate customer information and correspondence to ensure an effective communication and compliance trail.
  • Obtain and negotiate quotes from suppliers for road, sea and air freight and ancillary items.
  • Follow up with customers by phone, email and Teams to obtain feedback on quotations and orders
  • Supporting the Sales and Marketing team with any additional administration tasks, as required.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS / EXPERIENCE:  Previous sales order processing / sales administration experience would be ideal for this role.
  • The ability to build lasting relationships with customers and colleagues alike.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • The ability to interact with professionalism and build relationships with people across a multi-cultural, global customer / distribution base.
  • Previous experience of using a CRM/ERP software system such as; 123 Insight, Sales Force, Oracle or SAP – full systems training will be provided.
