What We’re Looking For

  • Full UK driving licence & access to a car (essential)
  • Availability every other weekend
  • NVQ Level 3 in Health & Social Care (or working towards)
  • Previous domiciliary or home care experience essential
  • Confident communicator with strong organisational and leadership skills
  • Right to work in the UK

The Role

As a Senior Care Assistant, you’ll play a key role in leading by example and supporting both clients and the care team to deliver outstanding home care services. You’ll combine hands-on care with leadership and quality assurance responsibilities to maintain the highest standards of care across the service.

  • Deliver compassionate, person-centred care to clients in their own homes.
  • Provide day-to-day supervision and support to Care Assistants.
  • Manage medication safely – including administration, review, ordering, and collection.
  • Complete and review care plans, risk assessments, and daily documentation.
  • Conduct spot checks, competency reviews, and supervisions.
  • Support new staff from induction through to shadowing.
  • Manage and support the on-call rota and act as first responder when required.
  • Oversee quality assurance and compliance standards, championing key policies and best practice.
  • Liaise directly with healthcare professionals, clients, and family members.
  • Promote a positive, open, and supportive team culture.

This is a hands-on leadership role ideal for someone with care experience who’s ready to take the next step or is already working at senior level.
