Sonic Summary

We are seeking a permanent Industrial Maintenance Engineer (Mechanical) for a manufacturer in Poole with a starting salary of £46,000, which can increase to £52,300 upon progression.
The role involves a shift pattern of 2 weeks of days and 2 weeks of nights after an initial training period, with specific hours outlined for each week.
Candidates must have completed an apprenticeship and possess a formal qualification such as City & Guilds, along with experience in pneumatics and welding.
The position requires problem-solving skills, teamwork, and the ability to carry out planned preventative maintenance and attend to machine breakdowns.

We are recruiting for a permanent Industrial Maintenance Engineer (Mechanical) to work at a long established manufacturer based in Poole.

The shiftpattern will start on standard 8am to 4pm Monday to Friday to allow for the training period then will move onto (2 weeks of days and 2 weeks of nights):

Week 1 (Days 6am - 6pm): Monday, Tuesday, Friday, Saturday, Sunday

Week 2 (Days 6am - 6pm): Wednesday, Thursday

Week 3 (Nights 6pm - 6am): Monday, Tuesday, Friday, Saturday, Sunday

Week 4 (Nights 6pm - 6am): Wednesday, Thursday

Then revert back to week 1. Sunday is counted as the first day of the week so you are paid 48 hours in the first week and 36 in the second.

Salary

Starting Salary is £46,000 depending on qualifications and experience (including shift allowance)

This salary will rise to £52,300 per annum once progression levels are complete.

Mechanical Fitter Requirements
