POSITION: ESTIMATOR
LOCATION: POOLE
Salary 35,000 - 50,000
Our client a well-respected specialist sub-contractor based in Poole is looking to recruit an Estimator. They offer a specialist service that covers, screeding, drylining, plastering, insulation works and external rendering; focusing mainly on the new build residential sector.
This is an exciting opportunity for an Estimator/Surveyor to join their Poole based team. The position has been created by growth in the business and with a very healthy forward order book.
The role of Estimator entails:
- Preparation of detailed tenders.
- Measure and take-off quantities from drawings and specifications.
- Liaise with clients, suppliers, and subcontractors.
- Support project handover and work closely with our team of Contract Managers.
The ideal candidate for the role will have:
- Experience as an Estimator (preferably in the construction industry but not essential).
- Knowledge of Drylining and plastering would be favourable.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office, especially Excel, essential.
- Excellent communication skills and ambition to take on responsibility
