Are you a seasoned Mechanical Maintenance Engineer within the FMCG space? If so, this opportunity might be perfect for you! We are currently seeking an individual with a Mechanical Engineering background to join a renowned FMCG company near to Poole, Dorset.
Responsibilities:
* Efficiently repair various production machinery using both reactive and preventative maintenance techniques, including motors, control panels and various systems.
* Confidence with pumps, motors, thermoformers, HVAC systems and gearboxes.
* Demonstrate proficiency in mechanical principles and engineering.
* Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
* Collaborate with the production team to optimise equipment performance and minimize downtime.
* Keep detailed records of maintenance activities and provide reports as needed.
Requirements:
* Previous experience in the FMCG sector.
* Relevant qualifications in mechanical engineering (BTEC, HNC, etc.).
* Proven experience in Hydraulics, Pneumatics and HVAC.
* Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure.
* Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
