As Production Engineer, your responsibilities will include:
- Supporting the integration of new products into production, ensuring tooling, fixtures, and layouts are optimised
- Reducing variability in manufacturing through standardised work methods
- Identifying and executing Six Sigma projects to improve efficiency
- Training production staff to maintain compliance and quality standards
- Conducting PFMEA and post-build reviews during NPI phases
- Maintaining high health and safety standards and ensuring regulatory compliance
As Production Engineer, your experience will include:
- Previous experience as a Production Engineer or in a senior production role within an assembly environment
- A HND or equivalent in Mechanical, Industrial or Production Engineering
- Exposure to lean manufacturing and quality methodologies such as Six Sigma
- Proficiency in 3D CAD (SolidWorks or Autodesk Inventor)
- A practical, innovative mindset with strong problem-solving skills
- Computer literacy and a dynamic, hands-on approach
