We're looking for an experienced Production Manager to lead day-to-day manufacturing operations at our client's Poole site. You'll play a key role in improving performance, introducing lean processes, and guiding a skilled team through an exciting phase of growth.
What You'll Be Doing:
- Lead and support the production team to meet output, quality, and delivery goals
- Plan and coordinate daily manufacturing operations
- Drive improvements using lean, Six Sigma, and 5S methods
- Monitor production metrics (OEE, yield, efficiency, downtime)
- Support new product launches and collaborate with engineering and supply chain
- Maintain high safety, quality, and compliance standards (ISO9001)
- Train, coach, and develop team members
- Recommend automation and process improvements
What We're Looking For:
- Proven experience in a production or manufacturing management role
- Background in electronics, electro-mechanical, or precision assembly
- Strong leadership and problem-solving skills
- Hands-on experience with lean or Six Sigma (green/black belt ideal)
- Confident using ERP/MRP systems
- Knowledge of ISO9001 or similar standards
- HNC/HND or degree in engineering or manufacturing (preferred)
