Primary Specialist (KS2) - Independent Prep School, Poole
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a passionate and dedicated Key Stage 2 teacher to join a thriving independent preparatory school in the beautiful coastal town of Poole.
We are seeking a Primary Specialist with a strong understanding of the KS2 curriculum, and ideally, a specialism or keen interest in English. You will join a dynamic and supportive team committed to delivering an outstanding, well-rounded education in a nurturing environment.
Contract/Position Details:
- Location: Poole
- Position: Primary Teacher (KS2)
- Start date: After October half term
- Contract: Temporary
- Full time/part time: Full Time
- Hours: 07:30am - 16:00pm (including meetings and parents evenings)
- Minimum rate of pay: Paid to scale
The ideal candidate will:
- Be a qualified teacher with experience teaching KS2 with QTS
- Demonstrate excellent subject knowledge, particularly in English
- Inspire and engage pupils of all abilities

- Delivering engaging, high-quality lessons across key stage 2, with a focus on developing strong literacy and language skills
- Planning and assessing work in with school and national curriculum expectations
- Supporting the individual learning needs, helping them achieve their full potential
