Quality Inspector - Permanent Role
TeamJobs are working with a leading manufacturing company based locally who are looking for an experienced and detail oriented Quality Inspector to join their team on a permanent basis.
A typical day in the role as a Quality Inspector includes:
- Inspecting products against engineering drawings using hand measuring equipment (no CMM used)
- Manually inspecting components to ensure they meet required quality standards
- Completing First Article Inspections and raising Non-Conformance Reports
- Interpreting complex manufacturing drawings and applying geometric tolerances
- Ensuring adherence to ISO 9001 standards and inspection best practices
- Supporting junior staff when required
Shift times & working hours for this Quality Inspector role:
- Monday to Friday
- Monday to Thursday: 8:00am - 5:00pm
- Friday: 8:00am - 2:30pm
- 40 hours per week
- 35,000 PA
- Overtime available at an increased rate
Requirements:
- Demonstrable experience in a similar inspection role
- Experience with manual inspection tools and techniques
- Understanding of inspection best practices and geometric tolerancing
- Previous experience in an ISO 9001 environment
- Ability to read and interpret complex technical drawings
