Are you an experienced Material Planner or Production Scheduler looking to take your career to the next level? We are seeking a detail-driven, proactive professional to join a dynamic team at a globally recognised engineering and manufacturing organisation.



What You'll Be Doing:

As a Shop Scheduler & Material Planner, you'll play a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth and timely flow of work throughout our advanced manufacturing facility. You'll be involved in both office-based planning and shop floor coordination, handling everything from work order generation to supplier liaison and logistical planning.



Your Key Responsibilities:

  • Generate and manage shop floor documentation and schedules

  • Prioritise and track work orders in line with the manufacturing plan

  • Coordinate material availability and movement to meet production targets

  • Liaise with suppliers, stores, logistics, engineering, and planning teams

  • Identify and resolve planning discrepancies

  • Ensure all schedules align with MRP plans and customer requirements



What We're Looking For:

  • Proven experience in material planning or production scheduling within a manufacturing environment

  • Familiarity with ISO9001 / AS9100 standards is a plus

  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)

  • Comfortable using ERP systems and managing databases

  • Highly organised with a sharp eye for detail

  • Effective communicator and confident multitasker



Qualifications & Skills:

  • GCSEs (A-C) in Maths and English (or equivalent)

  • NVQ Level 2 in Business Administration (desirable)

  • Project Management skills (advantageous)

  • A collaborative, proactive, and results-oriented mindset
