We're looking for an experienced Internal Sales Team Leader or Manager to join the team at their head office in Poole. You'll be instrumental in leading, developing, and motivating a proactive sales team, responsible for both inbound and outbound activity.



About the Role

This is a hands-on leadership role in a fast-paced sales environment. You'll manage a team who are quoting, advising and supporting customers with complex product requirements - so an understanding of technical sales and a commercial mindset is key.



Key Responsibilities

  • Drive the performance, motivation and coaching of the internal sales team

  • Monitor and report on team KPIs and individual targets

  • Oversee the accurate and timely processing of quotes and customer orders

  • Support your team in responding to technical enquiries across multiple channels

  • Proactively lead outbound activity - including account management and lead generation

  • Strengthen relationships with new and existing clients to uncover commercial opportunities

  • Collaborate with internal departments and suppliers to deliver accurate solutions

  • Promote upselling and cross-selling across the full product range

  • Ensure CRM data is accurate and up to date (HubSpot)



What We're Looking For

Essential Experience:

  • Proven leadership experience in internal or outbound sales

  • Excellent communication and performance coaching skills

  • Strong commercial awareness and sales acumen

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM systems (HubSpot preferred)

  • Ability to work at pace with accuracy and attention to detail

Desirable Experience:

  • Exposure to construction or technical product sales

  • Understanding of contract documents or building plans

  • Previous sales to contractors, developers or the trades sector

  • Knowledge of mechanical or natural ventilation systems (advantageous but not essential)
